How to Present Girl Scout Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards
1. Auxiliary should contact a local Girl Scout Troop.
2. Ask Troop Leader if any girls in the troop have earned the Gold, Silver or Bronze Awards, and if yes, request the
date of the presentation of these awards. If the date of the presentation is not suitable for the Auxiliary, you may set
up a special presentation.
3. Complete the necessary Request Form for Girl Scout Awards. The form is included in the packet and on page
131 of the National Program Book. Or you can contact National headquarters for a form.
4. Complete the form and mail or fax to National Headquarters for processing.
5. National will fill the order and mail them to the person indicated on the form.
6. The local Auxiliary should complete the citations with the girl’s name, and add the proper signatures. Note the
Auxiliary name and number beneath the signatures.
