Coins for Cancer
This year National want us to collect "Coins for Cancer" and it's a wonderful
idea and opportunity to get our Comrades involved. I came up with a TEA Pot
and want all Auxiliary Chairman to come up with a Piggy bank. Talk to Post and
or District Commanders and see about having a Piggy bank at the meetings or
post functions. Get a speaker to come in and talk about the early detection
and prevention. We need to bring awareness to the public and our community.
Our Auxiliary and District Chairman can contact the American Cancer Society At
www.cancer.org or call 1-800-227-2345 to request educational materials and
speakers. We can pass out information to our comrades, there over 20
different types of Cancer, and let's not forget our children. As we promote our
