Here's a Special Project taken on by the Colorado River Valley Auxiliary 10005 JR Girls Unit which falls under
Community Service/Cooperation with Other Organizations, Junior Girls, Youth Activities, and Hospital.  This is a mix &
match project for those who love children, and is perfect for the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.  

JR GIRLS FUND RAISER - THANK YOU SHRINE CLUB OF BULLHEAD CITY!
March 2007 saw Post 10005 devastated by an arson fire.  The fraternal organizations of Bullhead City have opened
their hearts and homes to our sisters and comrades.  The Shrine Club of Bullhead City has bent over backwards to
accommodate our every need.

AUX 10005 President Jan suggested that the Junior Girls Unit host a “Pajama Party”…….not a real one, but one to
collect children’s pajamas which will be donated to the Shrine Club for their It’s All about Children Hospital Program.
This “Pajama Party” has turned into a LAVFW State of Arizona fund raiser and is more than just PJ’s.

Did you know you will never see a billing office at a Shrine Hospital?  Their work is FREE to the Children of their
extended community family.  This project is #1 for the Shriners and can be #1 for your Auxiliary too!  The LAVFW Post
10005 Junior Girls Unit needs your help!  Items will be collected from now until the first of December.  Donated items can
be given to LAVFW Post 10005 Jr Girls Chairman Sheila Shutts at our Fall Conference/Hospital Banquet or at any of the
following District Meetings/events that I plan to attend:  Oct 13th District 6, Oct 20th District 10 Steakfry, October 21st
District 3, and Oct 28th District 8.
